In a treasure page, if the treasure is a racial perk, this template should be placed at the bottom of that page. To use it, type in the following:
<pre></pre>
If the racial perk belongs to one or more specific races, place text (any text) after the = in the template for every benefiting race. If the perk is a general perk, and is not specific to any race, do not add any extra text.
Whoever has mastered the Captivating Dance can perform a magical dance that puts nearly everyone who watches it, friend or foe, into a captivated trance within mere seconds. The magic will not halt extremely powerful emotions or motivations, such as an overwhelming desire to kill the dancer, but in nearly every other state of mind the dance's magic will captivate anyone who watches it. The dance requires all of the dancer's attention, and he cannot move from where he started the dance nor perform any other actions while maintaining the trance effect. Once the dancer ceases dancing, the effect immediately ends. Generally, any sudden rush of adrenaline--such as being injured, falling, or watching a murder--will break a being out of the trance prematurely.

Certain extremely competent beings, to include boss monsters, may be able to resist the effect outright. Anyone with a Moon Pearl isn't affected at all.
Largely because of its common and useful nature, this treasure is a universal racial perk. As such, any character can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation, though it can also be gained at any time like a normal treasure.

The pouch appears from the outside as a simple leather sack, and from the inside as well, capable of holding about a gallon. However, when an item is pushed inside, it is suddenly shrinks to roughly 10% of its mass and weight, making for easy storage. When the item is drawn back from the pouch, it suddenly grows back to its former size. Naturally, the pouch can only hold items that are capable of fitting though its mouth in their normal size. For reasons only the original inventor might understand, the same individual using multiple pouches ends up having the interior of them both be identical. (For instance, inserting a dagger into one will insert a dagger into both, but drawing a dagger out from one will make it disappear from both.) Because of this factor, owning more than one Adventure Pouch is largely pointless.

An almost identical item, known as the Compaction Bud, can be grown from a plant rather than manufactured. As such, it is an organic item instead of a magical item. Instead of a brown pouch, it appears as a brown flower bud of similar size to the Adventure Pouch. Though its appearance and origin differs, its effect is identical. Kikwis are known to wear these buds upon their backs, though Koroks and Deku Scrubs occasionally make use of them as well.
Trivia
* An Outfitter can produce an Adventure Pouch with Compaction Thread.
* The Smuggling Pocket spell has a similar effect of making an item easier to carry, and also completely hides that item from others, but can only affect one small item.
A Hyoi Seed appears somewhat similarly to a normal brown seed, but bears on one side several spots which resemble a face. This single seed is pure and potent, and as such can be useful as a material to be used by a Botanist. By using three Hyoi Seeds, along with at least three other seeds, a Botanist is able to create a Seed Supply with one of the following effects. These effects will combine with the effects of other seed types used as materials.
Elixir Effects
Hyoi Seeds can also be combined with specific quantities of other seeds to create a PerQuest Elixir with one of the following effects. As usual, the Botanist is able to produce multiple elixirs if her Botanist level is high enough.
At the end of this period, the user vomits forth a small violet "Memory Pellet." Whoever later swallows this Memory Pellet will be lost in a trance as they experience the recorded sensations. This cannot transmit senses the recipient cannot understand--such as sight to someone who has never seen.
For roughly a day's time, all affected bombs will be able to detonate with a mental cue from the owner, instead of detonating over a period of time as normal. The owner can only place one remotely-triggered explosive at a time, however.
Any ability with time restrictions will, for the purpose of the drinker, will be reduced to less than a quarter of its normal time. The time restrictions include both the time to use the ability, and the time which must pass before using the ability again. This does not affect the time limitations of items, but affects spells and techniques. The effect of this potion ends after a few minutes.
Trivia
* Although Hyoi Seeds don't make a canonical appearance, they are based on the Hyoi Pears which appear in The Wind Waker. More about the canonical version of Hyoi Pears can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
* Green Potions make several canonical appearances, but most other Seed Effects and Elixir Effects are original creations of Hyrule Castle's members.
When a typical living or undead creature eats a Compaction Seed, he or she will shrink to a tiny size, comparable to a Picori. 50
The Adventure Pouch, also known as the Compaction Pouch, was invented decades ago by a renowned sage, and has since become one of the most common treasures among the Hyrulean populace, as it can be reproduced rather easily and is useful for almost anyone, despite the magical and material costs involved in its production.

Variant: Compaction Bud
An almost identical item, known as the Compaction Bud, can be grown from a plant rather than manufactured. As such, it is an organic item instead of a magical item. Instead of a brown pouch, it appears as a brown flower bud of similar size to the Adventure Pouch. Though its appearance and origin differs, its effect is identical. Kikwis are known to wear these buds upon their backs, though Koroks and Deku Scrubs occasionally make use of them as well.
clear
Trivia
* An Outfitter can produce an Adventure Pouch with Compaction Thread.
* The Smuggling Pocket spell has a similar effect of making an item easier to carry, and also completely hides that item from others, but can only affect one small item.
* Skyward Sword Before the advent of that game, this item was known on Hyrule Castle solely as the Compaction Pouch.
To cast it, the caster first mentally concentrates his magic power to a point in space within about 10m (or 30 feet) of where he currently stands. A moment later, he will flash a bright color for less than a second. Less than a second later, he will appear in the exact spot he envisioned. He appears with the same orientation and stance as when he disappeared, and needs a moment to reorient himself. As such, it is difficult to land an unexpected attack with this spell. Furthermore, a soft sound and a transparent image of the user manifests from the reappearing point a moment before the caster appears, so a clever foe may quickly learn to predict this spell.
The rent price is based on the cost category of the treasure, and is not affected by the renting character's PWC. In a Quest or Dungeon, part of the Quest reward or Dungeon reward can be used to rent the treasure.

Artistic license is encouraged when determining and describing how a character "rents" a treasure. For example, a character may think she gained a treasure permanently at the start of her Quest, only for it to break at the end of that same Quest.

After a character has rented a treasure, the character can later gain that treasure at a reduced cost. The cost becomes its full cost minus its rent cost, in rupees. If a character rents the same treasure multiple times, the cost decreases by an equal amount each time.
After taking a second to focus their strength into their weapon, the user spins around once or twice in quick succession with their weapon outstretched. From the swung weapon is sent forth a potent wave of force in all directions around the user. The length and force of the wave depends on the weapon and the user's reach (i.e., a spear will have a longer wave, a mace will have a blunt wave, and a sword will have a slicing wave), but generally the wave doubles the effective length of the weapon. If this technique is used in mid-air, the user will be suddenly propelled upwards several feet. If multiple practitioners of this technique stand back-to-back and unleash it simultaneously, their weapon waves will combine force and stack on top of one another, extending their reach and force.
Hurricane Spin After focusing his strength into his weapon, the user can continue focusing for a total of at least five seconds, causing his weapon to glow brightly. While focusing in this manner, the user's sight and hearing are dulled, and the user is virtually incapable of movement. At any point after the five second period has passed, the user can unleash his focused power to spin at insane speeds for approximately ten full seconds. During this period of rapid spinning, the propulsion coming from the user's weapon can be used to spin across the ground as fast as the user would be able to sprint, all while performing Spin Attacks in immediate, rapid succession. The Hurricane Spin's power is overwhelming and difficult to control, causing the user to often spin out off-course. Any creature not guarding carefully against this attack from every side, or not dodging it completely, will almost assuredly be slain.

After the Hurricane Spin finishes, the user will be completely dazed for at least five seconds. During this duration, he will be completely unable to fight, and barely able to even stand or clearly seeing his surroundings. If he is not yet used to this technique, or not in peak condition, using this technique may impose further physical strain.
Common among battlefield mages and healers, the Hibernation spell puts the target into a state where he falls unconscious and his bodily processes slow down significantly, to the point where it is in-fact difficult to tell that he's alive. To cast it, the caster spends a minute in contact with the target performing the spell, focusing deeply throughout the duration, and inflicting the target with a tingling sensation throughout. As such, the target must either be willing, restrained, or subdued. Once this minute passes, the target enters a state of hibernation for up to two weeks, with the specific length of time being decided by the caster.

While the target is in this state of hibernation, his body's injuries, needs, and diseases will pause, growing no worse. Any injuries inflicted upon him in this state will still be inflicted, but become no worse. During hibernation, he requires no food or water, and extremely little air. This effectively enables more proficient healers to tend to a wounded individual, or keep a prisoner from consuming resources, among other niche uses.

Typically, the target will not awaken prematurely except by a treasure which acts as a stimulant, awakens its target, or relieves drug-like effects from its target. When awakened prematurely in this fashion, the target will be sore, strained, fatigued, and may suffer one or more other temporary physical ailments, such as clammy skin or vomiting. Regardless of how the target is awoken, he will find himself incredibly hungry and thirsty.
Most Fairies have an innate power to heal others. Those who haven't mastered proper healing magic often rely instead on the Fairy Tears ability. To use it, all an Great Fairy must do is touch her fingertips to another being, and focus her magical powers into it. In less than a second, that being is relieved of all injuries, pain, and fatigue. The being is filled with energy, and an innately good feeling. This effect does not, however, relieve curses, poisons, diseases, unconsciousness, or infections. In exchange, the Fairy who used this ability will lose consciousness within a few seconds of using the spell, and remain that way for approximately 8 hours, unable to wake even with the power of other treasures.
clear
Trivia
* A comparable effect can be achieved without sacrifice through the more costly Life spell.
* Although Fairy Tears can't relieve poisons and diseases, Detox can. Likewise, Revive can relieve unconsciousness while Fairy Tears cannot.
Intrinsic Enchantment is a trait representing natural, primal ability in using certain magical enchantments.

Some people--particularly Lynels and Gerudo--are born with powerful mystical powers of a seemingly magical nature. One of the most apparent ways this manifests is in the to perform an "Intrinsic Enchantment." As part of gaining this trait, the user immediately masters one of the following spells for free:
* Fire Enchantment
* Ice Enchantment
* Shock Enchantment
* Wind Enchantment
* Force Enchantment
* Shadow Enchantment
In addition, when gaining any of the above spells in the future, he may use his Power score in place of his Wisdom score when determining its cost.

This treasure is a racial perk for both Lynels and Gerudo. As such, a member of either race may choose to gain it for free upon character creation. If a Gerudo or Lynel gains this treasure sometime after creation, it costs 15 rupees less than normal.
When the caster concentrates and snaps the fingers of both hands, a pair of small floating hands will appear on either side of him or her. With one level of Summoning Power, the user can summon four hands; with two, they can summon six. Summoned hands can be combined to create differing numbers of differently sized hands; six hands combined will make a hand that is half the user’s height and capable of being used as a short-term defensive measure. These hands can persist for up to one hour but will dissipate if they take damage- these hands are approximately as durable as the average Keese. The user can end the effect at any time.
Unlike the Palm of Gohdan, Mini Gohdans move much faster and as such are capable of using rudimentary weapons. While these hands have the dexterity of a normal human hand, they do not have large amounts of strength behind them. These hands cannot provide a great deal of defense and do not have enough strength to manipulate objects larger than half the caster’s mass when all used in combination. They are, however, dextrous enough to unlock doors, use weapons and make complex hand gestures, which may be used for communication purposes.
The Spell Spell is a bizarre and powerful spell known to rapidly eat up magic power.

To cast this spell, the user merely clasps his hands together and utters a powerful phrase. Abruptly, all beings--alive or undead--within a 20 foot (or 6 meter) radius are struck with a terrible albeit temporary curse. They are turned into small, barely-mobile balls of slime reminiscent of Bots or ChuChus. Although they are still able to roll around, hop, breathe, and think, they are capable of little else. This enables the caster to either make a safe escape, or finish off her vulnerable foes. After approximately 1 minute, anyone afflicted by this spell will return to his or her normal form, unharmed. If the victim died while a slime, however, they will still be a corpse upon returning to their normal form. This spell does not seem to affect anyone with a Moon Pearl, nor certain extremely powerful monsters.
Din's Lance is an extremely powerful spell which requires great power and wisdom to cast. The user casts it by intently focusing upon his clenched fist for at least a few seconds, often with reciting a specific phrase or performing unique somatic actions--though these vary by the caster. If cast successfully, a rod of what appears to be brilliant, solid light will appear in his fist. The length of this weapon is usually slightly less than the caster's arm span. The mere creation of this weapon is said to be exhausting, as if the user has just run several miles.

Once created, this weapon can be wielded for about a minute's time. Though it doesn't harm the caster, anyone else who so much as touches it suffers intense heat (Fire damage) and deep-cutting pain (Light damage). Most commonly, Din's Lance is used as a javelin, as it possesses seemingly supernatural balance and ease of throwing, and exerts much more power on the impact after a throw. The power of a solid impact from this throw is enough to instantly slay almost any creature--a common Stalfos will explode into bone shards from this attack. Due to the sheer heat and cutting power of the lance, it can effortlessly pierce through almost any material on the way to its target.

Optionally, the user can create a smaller version of Din's Lance to their preference. This can be done to create an arrow suitable for a bow, or a bolt suitable for a crossbow, which can function similarly to the thrown javelin.

Due to the strain of creating this weapon, the user will usually be completely exhausted for several minutes, unable to fight properly, let alone create another lance for some time. At least a few minutes must pass between each creation of Din's Lance, though as with all exhausting tasks, casting this spell multiple times forces the user to rest longer and longer between uses.
A Gasha Seed appears as a blue-colored, teardrop-shaped seed about as large as a Hylian's smallest finger. When this seed is planted in soft soil, it makes a strange, seemingly magical connection to whoever planted it. The seed is capable of growing to full size--about as tall as a Hylian in roughly an hour's time, so long as it is planted in decent soil, and has access to a good amount of water and sunlight. After it matures, it produces a single vegetable contained with a thick, nut-like protective shell. If this nut is plucked, or the tree is left for more than a day's time, the tree will rapidly wither and die.

The vegetable itself has extraordinary healing properties. Strangely, the healing properties of the vegetable grow with the more monsters the planter herself has slain since the seed was planted. If no monsters were slain, eating the vegetable instantly heals minor wounds including minor cuts and bruises. If ten or more monsters were slain, eating the vegetable can cure even lethal injuries and broken bones. In either case, the entire vegetable needs to be eaten by one person for the healing to function, and it needs to be eaten within a few minutes of being plucked. The planter need not necessarily be the one to eat it, however.
Seed Effects
By using three Gasha Seeds, along with at least three other seeds, a Botanist is able to create a Seed Supply with one of the following effects. These effects will combine with the effects of other seed types used as materials.
Effect Name !! Description of Effect
Gasha || style="text-align: left"| The normal effect of a Gasha Seed occurs.
Tree || style="text-align: left"| A Tree Seed augments the effect of another seed effect. The seed can be planted in soft soil and watered, to produce a small tree roughly the size of a Hylian over the course of a few minutes. This tree bears, roughly, a dozen identical seeds to the one that was planted. Once the majority of these seeds or harvested, or after an hour passes, the tree abruptly crumbles into soil.
Purify || style="text-align: left"| When this seed is ingested by a living creature (not undead), that creature's body is cleansed of all non-lethal poisons over the course of about a minute. When this seed is dropped into a fluid that is mostly water, that water will be made into pure water, causing any impurities to either evaporate or be destroyed--however, one seed can only purify about a bucket's worth of water.
Refresh || style="text-align: left"| When this seed is eaten by a living creature (not undead), the eater will begin to feel a refreshing feeling after a couple minutes. This feeling causes the body's immune system and self-recovering abilities to abruptly accelerate, enabling it to heal minor cuts and bruises, ward off minor diseases such as an oncoming cold, and recover from minor poisons such as poison ivy. Eating more than a couple of these per day will cause the eater's immune system to overwork itself, causing the effect to fail and inflicting the eater with a lethargic feeling that lasts for hours.
Elixir Effects
Gasha Seeds can also be combined with specific quantities of other seeds to create a PerQuest Elixir with one of the following effects. As usual, the Botanist is able to produce multiple elixirs if her Botanist level is high enough.
Elixir Name !! Seeds !! Resulting Effect
As an apparent side-effect, the item becomes almost impervious to damage for about a minute. Notably, this potion doesn't seem to work on items which are designed to destroy themselves, such as Bombs.
50
Nose for Treasure is a utility technique useful for both crafters and businessmen.

Mogmas have a natural instinct to find treasure, which is only enhanced further by their culture's emphasis on treasure hunting as a worthwhile endeavor. Tokay similarly have an almost inborn greed, and desire to "salvage" trinkets and treasures when the possibility presents itself. As such, this treasure is a racial perk for both Mogma and Tokay. As such, a member of either race can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. If a Mogma or Tokay gains this treasure at some point after creation, it costs 15 less rupees than usual.

Once per quest or dungeon, the user of this technique can select to receive either a material discount or a rupee bonus.
clear
Material Discount
If a material discount is chosen, the user may choose to spend 8 less rupees on materials gained within this quest or dungeon, so long as the material has a set cost. Regardless of how many or how few materials the user acquires, the total discount never exceeds 8 rupees.

This effect cannot be combined with other treasures which discount materials, such as Ore Trade.

Rupee Bonus
If a rupee bonus is chosen, the user may gain an additional 5 bonus rupees at the end of his quest or dungeon. If the user gains bonus rupees with Nose for Treasure, however, he can only gain a Rupee Bonus from one other treasure in the same thread. Generally, any effect which is purely negative can be used as alternative (such as losing the capacity to cast Spells). Any negative effect which isn't magical or extraordinary (such as losing a limb in an accident, or gaining a terminal illness) can be gained freely, without the use of a treasure.
This effect can be undone by gaining this variant of the Curse again.
A Muscle Band can come in a variety of forms, from a metallic bracelet to an elastic headband. Regardless, it is always a band that can be worn on the body.

While the band is worn, the user's physical strength is magically altered. The wearer's strength becomes equivalent to the strength of a Darknut or Lynel. A particularly strong Korok with a Muscle Band will be able to match the strength of a particularly strong Lynel. Simultaneously, a particularly weak Korok with a Muscle Band will still be weaker than even an average Lynel. Indeed, relative strength is reflected appropriately by the Muscle Band. As such, any Lynel or Darknut will not be any stronger or weaker while wearing a Muscle Band.

The effect of a muscle band has a slight variance with the wearer's body mas. This variance is less noticeable when sizes are comparable, such as a 5-foot-tall Hylian and a 7-foot tall Gerudo. It becomes extreme when comparing either of these to a Picori, however, as even a typical hylian has hundreds of times more mass than any picori.

A strange side-effect of the Muscle Band is that the wearer's body tends to become much more dense and heavy. Because of this, feats of strength which move the body--such as running or jumping--are not significantly affected. A lightweight Deku Scrub won't be able to jump much higher even with a Muscle Band. That Deku Scrub also becomes significantly harder for other creatures to lift or move, however.
clear
Trivia
* A Power Bracelet also is a band which affects the wearer's strength, albeit in a different way.
Shield Breaker is a powerful technique which cannot be blocked, but can otherwise be evaded. To use it, the user concentrates all of his power into either his fist or a melee weapon for two seconds, then unleashes it with a vicious force. While the attack is a strong one, it is not noticeably more potent than a mundane body blow against an unarmed combatant. What makes this technique unique is that it devastates any form of barrier normally capable of warding attack. This includes, shields, armor, parrying weapons, magical screens, and more--anything that attempts to prevent entry or damage dealt by the user's force is obliterated on impact. Cutting or piercing weapons will penetrate any material, even the thickest armor crafted from Goron Iron, as if it was made of butter. Blunt weapons, by contrast, will have the full force of their impact felt on anything behind the blocking object; striking a shield would not harm the shield, but the bearer of that shield would feel a crippling blow to his arm.

It is important to remember that the damage felt by any creature from Shield Breaker is comparable to a normal attack. An attack using Shield Breaker is only extraordinary due to its ability to penetrate barriers.

Trivia
* A Power Bracelet also is a band which affects the wearer's strength, albeit in a different way.
