This bizarre treasure inflicts the user himself with what would normally be considered a negative effect. How the Curse inflicts the user can vary widely, as can its effect. When gaining the curse, you can choose one of the following effects to be inflicted. Generally, any effect which is purely negative can be used as alternative (such as losing the capacity to cast Spells). Any negative effect which isn't magical or extraordinary (such as losing a limb in an accident, or gaining a terminal illness) can be gained freely, without the use of a treasure.
Curses with Beneficial Effects
Although a typical curse is purely harmful and can be acquired for free, gaining any one of the following curses costs rupees, as noted below.
{| class=wikitable
! Name !! Cost !! Effect
|-
! Curse of<br>Time Passed
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user will find their body's age permanently altered, making them older or younger--sometimes dramatically so. While the curse does not affect the user's mind directly, he may also find an altered mentality, his personality or mindset changed accordingly with the physical state of their body. This effect can be undone by gaining this variant of the Curse again.
|-
! Curse of<br> Dark Mirror
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user is afflicted as if he looked into a Dark Mirror.
|-
! Curse of<br> Bestial Form
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user is forced into an animal-like form, thereby gaining the Bestial Form treasure.
|-
! Curse of<br> Flora
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user's body transforms freakishly into one which seems to function as a plant, effectively gaining Plant Composition.
|-
! Curse of<br> Heat
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user's body becomes incredibly hot, rendering them weak to cold--even room temperatures--without some kind of protection. In effect, the user gains Infernal Composition.
|-
! Curse of<br> Cold
| style="text-align: center"|40
| The user's body becomes incredibly cold, rendering them weak to heat--even room temperatures--without some kind of protection. In effect, the user gains Frigid Composition.
|-
! Curse of<br> Lost Form
| style="text-align: center"|50
| The user will find his body physically changed into a weaker form, such as a frog, rat, pig, ChuChu, or Keese. The user's mind will remain physically intact, and he will be able to use any abilities which do not rely on physical features he no longer has. This effect can be undone by gaining this variant of the Curse again. Optionally, this curse can be used to turn a normal character into an Unusual Companion.
|-
! Curse of<br> Undeath
| style="text-align: center"|60
| The user becomes undead, and likely suffers from unsightly physical mutations.
|-
! Curse of<br> Gills
| style="text-align: center"|60
| The user becomes amphibious, and likely suffers from unsightly physical mutations.
! style=white-space:nowrap|Curse of<br> Changed Race
| style="text-align: center"|60
| The user's race permanently changes to another playable race, robbing him of any innate distinct racial perks he had previously, and forcing on him any innate racial perk of his new form.
By flipping a switch on the boots, their soles abruptly become powerful, magical magnets which only applies force in a straight trajectory out from the bottoms of the feet. (As such, the boots will not magnetize with any object not below them.) The user's feet will be magnetized to any metal or rock, regardless of the surface's polarity or magnetic potential. The user is capable of walking easily even on walls and ceilings. If both feet are removed, as would occur in running or jumping, the user is subjected to normal gravity, and may fall if care is not taken.

If the user has a pair of Iron Boots, the effect of his Magnet Boots can be applied to the Iron Boots at will.
Magic Volley is an offensive spell used to manifest numerous magical, armor-ignoring darts to be launched at enemies. Major

If the user already knows Magic Dart, the cost of this spell is reduced by two categories, down to Normal Cost.

To use Magic Volley, the user must be stationary on the ground. They must put their hands together as if holding a sphere the size of a grapefruit and concentrate for ten seconds. A ball of raw magical energy will form during this time. The caster then must thrust their hands forward- upon doing so literally hundreds of Magic Darts will begin spewing forth from the sphere and in the general direction the caster is facing. Magic Darts are comparable in size and power to blow-darts, travel at roughly the same speed, cannot be launched very far, and do relatively little damage on their own unless they struck a vulnerable spot such as an eye. They are inherently somewhat inaccurate, akin to firing a weapon from the hip. Immediately after a dart strikes an object, it vanishes from existence. However, Magic Darts pass right through any unnatural defenses--armor and magical barriers--but strike any part of a living animal, undead animal, or plant as normal. Magic Darts can still be reflected by Mirror Shield, Nayru's Affection, and other Projectile-reflecting treasures.

Magic Volley's rate of fire is approximately one hundred darts per second, for a total of ten seconds. The spell is totally inaccurate at ranges larger than ten meters, but within that range the majority of the darts can be expected to hit somewhere on the target--assuming it is no larger than a Hylian. The darts are no more powerful than before, but being hit by hundreds of them is similar to being stung by an entire swarm of bees. The caster may not move from their initial position while casting Magic Volley, but they are capable of turning in place. While casting this spell, the caster will experience an extreme but non-damaging burning sensation for several minutes after casting it, and cannot cast it again until the sensation dissipates.
* Magic Volley can be seen as a less powerful, less costly version of this spell.
Magic Dart is an offensive spell which may be used to manifest magical darts and fling them at enemies.

The spell is cast by pointing a finger at the target and concentrating on the spell for a brief moment. The dart will form and fire from the caster’s fingertip almost instantly. Magic Darts are comparable in size and power to blow-darts, travel at roughly the same speed, and as such cannot be launched very far. As a result, the darts do relatively little damage unless they strike a vital spot or a vulnerable organ like an eye. They are inherently somewhat inaccurate, akin to firing a weapon from the hip. Immediately after a dart strikes an object, it vanishes from existence.

The main advantage to using Magic Darts is that they bypass almost any unnatural defenses. They will pass through armor without damaging it, and utterly ignore magical defenses such as barriers. The darts can still be reflected by effects like Mirror Shields or the Nayru's Affection spell. Any defenses that are still part of a living creature will still function--including the coarse rocks on a Goron's back, or a shield made out of a still-living plant.

A spellcaster can typically fire up to ten Arcane Darts per minute, but never more than one per second. With one level of Magic Power, ten Arcane Darts may be fired within forty seconds. With two levels, ten may be fired every twenty seconds. Any finger may be used to fire a dart; if the caster lacks fingers, their hand may be used with reduced accuracy.
Hands-Free Casting

This augment enables the user to cast Arcane Darts without using fingers. Instead, the darts manifest freely anywhere within a foot of the user’s body, and are fired exactly where the user’s eyes are pointing. This makes the spell far more accurate against stationary targets, although the lack of control after firing means the darts are no more useful against a dodging opponent.
Heightened Hearing is a simple but useful spell which, as its name suggests, heightens the hearing of the subject. To cast this spell on himself, the caster must merely concentrate intensely for several consecutive seconds.

Once cast, the caster's hearing is greatly amplified--roughly tripled. This is particularly noticeable with very quiet sounds, such as a rodent's chewing, or a Keese flapping its wings in the distance. However, this state does impose a drawback. The heightened hearing causes the user's to become very sensitive and easily damaged. A shout through a Megamouth Mask, or a blast from a Cane of Echoes, would likely cause the caster to lost hearing for several minutes.
The user can end this spell at any time by concentrating for a moment. If left alone, the effect will last indefinitely once cast.
All it requires is several seconds of intense concentration, then a gentle touch of whoever is to have their hearing amplified. The recipient will always be able to immediately tell their hearing has been increased, and will be able to end the effect on their own by concentrating on it for a moment. If the user doesn't end the effect prematurely, it will last for a few minutes at most.
as she would hear it--so an obnoxious noise like a pestering voice could be lowered in volume or even entirely ignored. Of course, the user can choose to undo this effect at any time.
