Master Ore is a material which can be used by an Outfitter or Weaponsmith. It appears as an chunk of pink or orange crystal-like ore. This ore has no special use outside of crafting. Exceedingly rare, it usually takes great effort to acquire even a single piece, but can be well worth the effort.
One instance of Master Ore normally costs 40 rupees. However, its price is reduced by 1 rupee for every crafting level the user possesses, to a minimum cost of 30 rupees. This reduction applies to both when the ore is first gained, and when determining how many materials can be worked into a single item.
A single piece of Master Ore can be used in the initial crafting process alongside other materials, or later used in tempering a single item. When Master Ore is worked into a forged item, it harmonizes the other materials used in creating the item. This allows materials which are usually incompatible, like Goron Iron or Mirror Silver, to be used in tandem with any other materials. Likewise, Master Ore is unique in that it will never conflict with other materials.
