Darknuts are manifested with an extraordinary skill in martial techniques. As such, a Darknut can reduce the costs all [[:Category:Techniques|Techniques]] and all {{Field|WeaponBase}}-field treasures by 5 rupees each. If a single treasure is a technique of the WeaponBase field, he can reduce its cost by 10 rupees. No treasure may be reduced below 10 rupees because of this effect.

Despite their expertise, Darknuts have little ability with spellcasting. As such, a Darknut must increase the costs of all [[:Category:Spells|Spells]] by 5 rupees. If a treasure is a Spell of the WeaponBase field, the bonus and penalty to cost cancel each other out, and the Darknut uses the normal cost of the treasure
