'''Fusion Dance''' is a utility technique. If perfectly perform by two separate individuals, they will temporarily fuse into a single being. The dance itself only requires several seconds of specific movements, gestures, and vocalizations performed identically by the two individuals. Indeed, to be used, both characters to be fused must have obtained this treasure on their own.

The fused being contains the combined mind and body of both individuals, created solely from the traits of both individuals. It is commonly believed that this being is superior to a being who is not fused, as it has effectively lived two lives prior to its fusing, and reaps the full benefits of both lives.

Surprisingly, the fused being can be difficult to predict, especially if the two beings to be fused have never been fused before. A fusion between a [[Race:Kokiri|Kokiri]] and grown [[Race:Hylian|Hylian]], for example, would presumably result in a being that is halfway between a child and adult, but never ages. It could, however, result in a full Hylian adult that never ages, too. A fusion between an anger-prone individual and a very easy-going person could result in someone who is neither, switches between extremes, or even someone who is still anger-prone or easy-going.

Regardless, the fused being always contains the knowledge of both individuals, and any physical objects are not fused. As such, all [[:Category:Treasures|treasures]] will likely be retained. The fused being is often wearing the clothing of both individuals (although in cases of differently-sized individuals, this may mean one set of the clothing is broken). Fusing two individuals of different gender may result in a being who is of either gender, or even neither gender.

Once a Fusion Dance is performed, its effects will last for up to an hour, unless ended prematurely by the combined willpower of the fused individuals. Regardless of how long the individuals remain fused, they are unable to successfully perform a Fusion Dance with each other again for at least 24 hours. They can still fuse with other individuals as normal, however.

Notably, any being fused either by this dance (or by [[Fusion Earrings]]) is unable to fuse again with another being.
