&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Glit Glower&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is a defensive technique, which relies on the user having a glistening, golden quality in his eyes.  If he lacks such a quality, the cost of this treasure increases by 5 rupees, and bestows him this quality.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
To use this technique, the user must stare down the target directly in the eyes for at least five seconds, and the target cannot break eye contact for this duration.  The user&amp;#039;s eyes will then flash bright yellow, inflicting the target with one of two afflictions.  Most beings who are willingly engaging the user in combat, or otherwise have decently strong wills, will become momentarily disturbed and distracted, forced to look away and adjust their eyes after the flash.  Weaker beings who would never willingly engage in combat without necessity, will receive a more drastic effect.  Such a being will be filled with fright, so much so that it will freeze in place for five to ten seconds.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
As a side effect, any creature with Glit Glower will not be subject to effects which rely on eye contact.  Instead, such effects will reflect back onto the individual who caused it.  As such, Glit Glower can never be used on another being with Glit Glower.&lt;br /&gt;
