'''Great Ascension''' is a treasure that can only be acquired by a [[Race:Tiny Fairy|Tiny Fairy]], and only if the player has a [[Race License]] for the [[Race:Great Fairy|Great Fairy]] race. Though rare, it is possible for a tiny fairy to achieve enough magical prowess, influence, or luck to ascend from the status of a [[Race:Tiny Fairy|Tiny Fairy]] to that of a [[Race:Great Fairy|Great Fairy]]. In gaining this perk, the user loses access to her [[Winged Flight]], but may gain in its place a Great Fairy [[racial perk]], so long as the perk gained does not occupy two "slots."

As part of this change, the user's [[PWC]] increases as is appropriate to her new race. She is no longer considered a Tiny Fairy for the purpose of any treasures, and is instead now considered a Great Fairy. Among other possibilities, this affects the cost of treasures which count as [[racial perk]]s for her.
