'''Miasma''' is an offensive spell designed to hinder enemies. To cast it, the caster sprays a dark purple gas from either his hands or mouth, which persists in a small cloud for several minutes. The cloud's diameter is typically 10 feet (or just over 3 meters). When this gas touched or breathed in, a person will immediately begin to experience nausea, dizziness, and stomach pains that persist for several minutes. The affected will cough and gag if it is inhaled. These effects make fighting difficult, but not impossible. This spell is only fatal if a person breathes Miasma for a full minute or longer. Any creature that is [[undead]] or has a [[Dark Affinity]] is unaffected by Miasma, but a caster who is neither of these can be affected, after the gas has been expelled.

Miasma can only be cast when several minutes have passed since the cloud's dispersion. Under normal conditions, this is immediately after the last cloud produced by it disperses.
