One of the first settlements in [[Southern Hyrule]], Kasuto rested south of [[Death Mountai]]n. Once a home to as many [[Goron]]s as [[Hylian]]s, Kasuto prospered as a town of trade and connection, acting as a sending ground for most of the settlement of Southern Hyrule. As [[Ganon]]’s darkness flooded across the lands, though, villages were ransacked, their inhabits butchered by claws and steel. Very few survivors of this village escaped the wrath of Ganon, and the town fell to evil, becoming a staging point for the siege of [[Goron City]].

Currently held as a stronghold of Ganon’s forces, Kasuto is a town to stay away from. Any forces not known to heed Ganon are struck down by grant distances, from arrow and spell alike. Even [[Moblin]]s and [[Darknut]]s who aren't known soldiers of the King of Evil will be struck down without a second thought. The buildings of steel, and more recently constructed walls, have made it virtually unapproachable even by large and skilled raiding forces.
