Through training or natural means, the user grows a poisonous gland in her body. The location of the gland is chosen when obtaining this treasure. The gland must be located on the tip of a weaponized part of the user's body--such as claws, fingernails, teeth, or fangs. More unusual body parts may be selected if the user possesses them--such as the tail of a {{r|Lizalfos}}, or the thorns of a {{r|Deku Scrub}}.

On command, the user may cause the poison gland to secret a mild poison, quickly coating the associated appendage. The user herself is immune to all effects of her own poison. Anyone else suffers the poison's effects about one minute after skin contact. These effects include light disorientation, nausea, and mild feverish behavior.

The duration of the effects is proportional to how much poison is administered. A few drops may last only a few seconds. Extreme poisoning could last for hours, or even days, without magical restoration. The poison is not lethal in of itself, but can incapacitate a weakened individual under the right conditions.

As this gland is biological, it cannot produce limitless poison at once, but can generally be used multiple times per day if the user is good health. If the poison itself is separated from the user's poison gland for more than a minute, it dilutes, and becomes effectively harmless.

The potency of the poison increases. Within a minute after direct contact, this poison can cause vomiting, high fevers, and hallucinations, in addition to the normal effects. In high doses, it is potent enough to kill an otherwise healthy individual.

The user grows an additional location to have a poisonous gland. It must be in a different location than a previous gland, but otherwise follows the same limitations.
