A Subrosian begins with a [[PWC]] of 2/2/1. This starting PWC can be defied by using the [[Exception]] racial perk during character creation.

A Subrosian has an innate racial perk called [[Infernal Composition]], and another called [[Foreign Language]]. In addition to these, a Subrosian character can have up to three additional [[racial perk]]s of choice. Aside from the general perks available to every race, a Subrosian can also choose from:
* [[Infernal Birth]]: a trait which makes it easier to acquire {{Field|Fire}}-based treasures
* [[Flame Aura]]: a spell which momentarily surrounds the Subrosian in a cloak of fire
* [[Nightvision]]: a trait which enables the Subrosian to see clearly in darkness
* [[Ore Trade]]: an ability which enables a Subrosian to gather additional rupees or certain [[:Category:Materials|materials]] once per quest or dungeon
* [[Smith]]: a trait which increases the Subrosian's [[Crafting#Blacksmith|blacksmithing]] prowess

In these times, the Subrosian glacier was a volcanic paradise, with constantly flowing lava and intense heat. When the volcanoes died and the land began to freeze, the Subrosians retreated into their mines and left the surface behind. It is well documented that their use of heavy robes began during this time when the glacier was forming.

 The Subrosians are a mysterious race hailing from a land far below the surface of [[Hyrule]] and the [[Great Sea]], in a land of extremely hot temperatures surrounded by an ocean of magma known as [[Subrosia]].  The only widely known method Subrosians can reach Hyrule is through an extremely harsh and long journey through the aptly named [[Subrosian Glacier]], far off the coast of Hyrule. Long untouched by the outside world, the relatively small country of Subrosia has had time to grow in prosperity and number. While not so numerous as, say, the Hylian race, many Subrosians call the wide chasms and tunnels beneath the glacier home.

+Oddly enough, the dancers’ guild seems to hold the most sway, as dancing is the most popular Subrosian pastime. The guild’s name is something of a misnomer, as its primary duty is maintaining the relatively luxurious Subrosian Dance Hall, which is open to all Subrosians--any shows or activates taking place there are arranged by citizens, not the guild. Although dance is most prominent, Subrosians do enjoy other activities: many talented chefs run renowned restaurants, and public lava bathing is considered a pleasant social activity.
