'''Third Eye''' is a strange and permanent mutation, which usually results from a bizarre happenstance such as a backfiring [[:Category:Spells|spell]], or the [[curse]] of an esoteric creature. As its name implies, it causes an eye to sprout up somewhere on the user's body--such as the back of the head, the palm, or elsewhere. It is often slightly larger than the user's natural eyes. This third eye mostly functions as one of the user's normal eyes, granting them sight in an unusual part of her body, gaining benefit from treasures such as [[Darkvision]] or [[Eyebeam]], if the user possesses them. As one may expect, anyone discovered to have a third eye will likely be treated as a freak or an outcast by mainstream society.

When the eye is closed, it is naturally disguised well enough that it may simply appear to be a crease in the user's skin. It can further be disguised with [[Actor's Illusion]], other {{Field|Illusion}} treasures, or simple fabric.

This treasure can be gained multiple times, granting the user an additional eye every time it is gained.
