Tune Crystal is a material which an Outfitter or Weaponsmith can craft into any item they can create or modify. The crystal itself appears as a dark cyan color, and is semitransparent. Any item crafted from it may retain some of these aesthetic properties.

An item expertly crafted from Tune Crystal gains a unique property. When struck, the item emits an ethereal hum sound, not unlike a more traditional percussion instrument. The volume of the hum depends on the force of the strike, and its pitch depends on the location of the strike. Thus, with a bit of practice, a skilled musician is able to play extraordinary songs with the outfit or weapon as if it was a masterfully crafted instrument. This more quickly enables the user to play such songs in situations where time is of the essence. Musical wear can also be put to good use for aesthetic purposes as well.
