Whoever wears it will be mostly protected from freezing, and cold in general. Specifically, any part of the body shielded by the Yeti Tunic will not freeze, nor will the Yeti Tunic itself. The cold of the user's surroundings will be greatly reduced as well. A skilled [[Crafting#Tailor|Tailor]] can create a Yeti Tunic from a single supply of [[White Hide]].

The wearer of a Yeti Tunic will negate any [[Infernal Composition|weakness to cold]] he or she would otherwise have, making it particularly useful for [[Subrosian]]s. A Yeti Tunic can be removed from its wearer, to instead wrap an object, thus keeping the object from suffering excessive cold or freezing

For most wearers, knowing the Yeti Tunic protects from cold is sufficient, but occasionally the exact extent by which it protects may become necessary information. To quantify this tunic's protection, it will effectively reduce any temperature below room temperature by approximately 90%. Since room temperature is about 70°F, the wearer can treat -200°F as if it was 43°F. (The actual temperature of -200°F is subtracted from room temperature of approximately 70°F, leaving a difference of 270°F. From there, 90% of 270°F is 27°F. Then, 27°F is subtracted from 70°F to determine the approximate temperature felt by the wearer, which in this case is 43°F. Using 90% decrease functions for both Fahrenheit and Celsius measurements of temperature.)
