Within this category are treasures with a widely-known variant. A variant treasure produces an identical effect to the original treasure, but takes a different form. For instance, a Fire Rod is just a cane which can be used to cast Fire, but otherwise has the same price, effect, and purpose.

Generally, treasures may have minor variants without needing to be recognized as such in the Library. The Library only documents common variants that occur in the world of Hyrule.
