The Quake Medallion is a mystical medallion imbuing its user with the power of earth. The action to use it is typically performing Plummeting Blade, though knowledge of the technique is not required

When the Quake medallion is activated, it will cause a small earthquake, affecting everything within a range of ten meters (or thirty feet). It will abruptly destroy nearly everything on the ground, save the user and any particularly fearsome foes. Notably, this does not affect foes which can fly (or are flying), nor those that can levitate, as with the Hover ability.

Due to the extreme rate at which this spell consumes magic, it can normally be used only once per quest or dungeon. With one level of Magic Power, however, it can be cast twice. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be cast thrice. Every time the user consumes a Green Potion, this spell can be cast one more time. Regardless of how many times this spell can be cast, at least 1 minute must pass before it can be repeated.

Trivia

  • The Quake Medallion treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in A Link to the Past. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
