Bomb Rock is a mineral with high explosive properties, often incorporated into any melee weapons or shields by Weaponsmiths to cause the weapon (or shield) to explode, or Outfitters to make a set of handgear. This explosion has the the force of a bomb. A time limit observed by most is about fifteen to twenty seconds or so between bursts.

Trivia

  • Steel weapons won't last for especially long amounts of time; it is recommended to use some form of Goron Iron with this material.
  • The Bomb Rock (material) treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Cloud.
