Skulltula Silk is a material harvested from Skulltula. When this substance is treated and altered properly, it becomes a useful material usable by an Outfitter. An outfitter can craft any clothing, or other appropriate object, he would otherwise be able to craft using this silk. The resulting clothing remains as flexible as normal cloth, but is surprisingly durable to impacts and attacks. While not quite as powerful as metal armor or chainmail, layers of skulltulla silk can be remarkably stronger than leather or hide, all while maintaining the flexibility and light weight of sturdy cloth.
The Skulltula Silk (material) treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Quill.
