When gaining the curse, you can choose one of the following effects to be inflicted. Generally, any effect which is purely negative can be used as alternative (such as losing the capacity to cast Spells). Any negative effect which isn't magical or extraordinary (such as losing a limb in an accident, or gaining a terminal illness) can be gained freely, without the use of a treasure.

  • The Curse treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Ribitta. Most alternate effects of Curse have been created after the original treasure was introduced.
