Ore Trade
Type Utility Technique
Fields Earth, PerQuest, Subrosian, Rupee
Cost 45 rupees

Ore Trade is a utility technique useful for both crafters and businessmen. Subrosians come from a land where ore chunks are used in currency in place of rupees. Naturally, if they value money, their senses are particularly sharpened for finding ore, typically much more so than other races.

This trait is a racial perk for Subrosians, and as such, one can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. If a Subrosian would gain this perk after creation, it costs 15 rupees less than it would for other races. Other races gain it for its normal cost.

Once per quest or dungeon, the user of this technique can select to receive either a material discount or a rupee bonus.

Material Discount

If a material discount is chosen, the user may choose to spend 12 less rupees on any material(s) gained within this quest or dungeon, so long as those materials are explicitly based on rocks or metals. This effect cannot be combined with other treasures which discount materials, such as Nose for Treasure.

Rupee Bonus

If a rupee bonus is chosen, the user may gain an additional 5 rupees at the end of his quest or dungeon. In doing so, however, he can only gain a Rupee Bonus from at most one other treasure in the same thread.
