Impact Coating is a technique which requires the user to use ingredients from Deku Nuts. As such, the user must either have access to a Deku Nut Supply.
Using a special material from a Deku Nut, the user delicately applies it to the tip of a weapon or other surface. When the affected object next strikes an object with enough force, it will explode with a blinding Deku Nut's flash, which also minutely boosts the force of the impact. Once the flash has been ignited, the material will be consumed and must be re-applied. The user can gain the Additional Coating augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time. This augment can be gained up to five times. Each time it is gained, the application of the material can function for an additional impact.
