Wizzwarp is a powerful defensive spell. This is a Major treasure. A character who has never gained a Major treasure may gain this treasure normally. Otherwise, the character must first acquire Major Gain specifically to gain this treasure.

To cast it, the caster first mentally concentrates his magic power to a point in space within about 10m (or 30 feet) of where he currently stands. A moment later, he will flash a bright color for less than a second. Less than a second later, he will appear in the exact spot he envisioned. He appears with the same orientation and stance as when he disappeared, and needs a moment to reorient himself. As such, it is difficult to land an unexpected attack with this spell. Furthermore, a soft sound and a transparent image of the user manifests from the reappearing point a moment before the caster appears, so a clever foe may quickly learn to predict this spell. This spell can be cast once every few seconds.

Variant

Particularly agile casters are able to cast this spell in a different way, known simply as Leap. The spell is still cast with concentration, and requires the caster to designate a point within the same vicinity. Instead of merely disappearing, he seems to effortlessly jump a great distance upward, disappearing either into the ceiling or after a short distance. Less than a second later, a shadow will appear at the spot he mentally designated, emitting a soft sound from that spot. A moment later, the caster falls down upon that spot just as he disappeared, and may need a moment to reorient himself. As such, it is difficult to land an unexpected attack with spell. Like the normal variant, this spell can be cast only once every few seconds.

This version is be based on Courage instead of Wisdom, but is otherwise effectively the same. The only other differences are mostly aesthetic.
