To use this technique, the user must have access to a Bomb Bag, Bombchu Supply, Bombling Supply, Bomb Seed Supply, or Mini Bombs.

A user with the Bomb Arrow can use their respective explosives in a new way. The user can swiftly attach one of his bombs to the tip or shaft of an arrow, crossbow bolt, or similar fired projectile. Providing one hand handles the bomb, and the other hand handles the projectile, this process takes less than a second, allowing it to be aimed a moment later. The arrow can then be fired, and unleashes as a bomb-equivalent explosion on impact. (Notably, Bomb Seeds and Mini Bombs provide smaller explosive power.) Because of the added weight, the projectile may be somewhat front-heavy.

Trivia

  • A Powder Charge can be used in a manner similar to a Bomb Arrow.
  • The Bomb Arrow treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Link's Awakening. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
