A Jewel of Control appears as a crescent-shaped, dark-green jewel filled with powerful magic. When it is attached to a chain and worn around the neck by a sentient being, that being becomes subject to the user's complete mind control. The target becomes a mindless slave and will follow orders as effectively as possible. This jewel will not affect is the user, the one who it claims as its owner--and rarely will it accept a new owner without years of passing since its last.
The Jewel of Control is incapable of overpowering the minds of dungeon bosses, anyone who physically prevents the necklace from being placed around the neck, or anyone in possession of a Moon Pearl.
This is a Major treasure. A character who has never gained a Major treasure may gain this treasure normally. Otherwise, the character must first acquire Major Gain specifically to gain this treasure.
Attempting to control the mind of a sentient beings is considered a crime in Hyrule. As such, the use of a Jewel of Control is a criminal activity.
