Glow Iron is a magical material, which a blacksmith can use to craft a single weapon, armor set, or other single object. When the crafted object is held, the holder can concentrate his or her willpower into the object. Depending on how much willpower the holder focuses into the object, the light given off could range from a lit match to illuminating nearly an entire room.
With a bit of effort, a woodworker is able to crush Glow Iron into a form which can be applied to wood, enabling them to craft wooden objects using this material, granting it the same effect.
Finally, a tailor can use two supplies of Glow Iron to create a dye, which can be used as a material in any object crafted by the tailor, granting a similar benefit to Glow Iron. Unlike like Glow Iron, however, the effect triggers automatically in areas of dim light or darkness.
