The Bombos Medallion is a mystical medallion imbuing its user with the power of flame. To cast, one must perform some type of motion to initially activate the spell within the medallion, which is typically an enchanted Spin Attack, though the knowledge of the technique is not required to utilize the medallion.

When cast, the Bombos Medallion has a very powerful effect. Simply put, it will instantly slay most enemies -- barring particularly strong and fearsome opponents -- with several gouts of flame, and the ensuing explosion afterwards within thirty feet, or ten meters.

Due to the extreme rate at which this spell consumes magic, it can normally be used only once per quest or dungeon. With one level of Magic Power, however, it can be cast twice. With two levels of Magic Power, it can be cast thrice. Every time the user consumes a Green Potion, this spell can be cast one more time. Regardless of how many times this spell can be cast, at least 1 minute must pass before it can be repeated.
