Will-o-Wisp is a useful spell, which can be creatively used for attack, defense, or utility.

To cast this spell, the user charges her magical energy into her fist for a second or so, causing it to begin glowing white. Opening her hand reveals a controlled sphere of magical flame, the base of which is the size of her fist. This flame is self-sustaining, and can function without burning anything but the user's magical power, even able to exist underwater. It will float in place and follow the exact movements of the user's center, moving and tilting as she does, following her wherever she goes.

The flaming sphere can be grabbed by the user and moved to a different position around her body; throwing it has no effect, as it will immediately stop after leaving the user's hand. The flame will extinguish when it is crushed in the user's fist, or the user loses consciousness. Normally, only one wisp can be produced at a time. One can be produced for each hand if the caster obtains this spell twice.

The wisp's heat varies. When not in contact with the caster, the wisp will only be a dim warm. While the wisp is physically grasped by the caster, it will not harm her, but to all else will be as hot as normal flame.

If the caster has a Specialty in Ice or uses Cold Fire as a focus, she may have the flame produced by Will-o-Wisp function as Cold Fire instead of normal fire.
