Characters are allowed to "rent" treasures for a single role-play thread, single Quest, single Dungeon, or single fight in the Battle Arena, using the treasure as if the character owned it. The rent price is based on the cost category of the treasure, and is not affected by the renting character's PWC. In a Quest or Dungeon, part of the Quest reward or Dungeon reward can be used to rent the treasure.

Artistic license is encouraged when determining and describing how a character "rents" a treasure. For example, a character may think she gained a treasure permanently at the start of her Quest, only for it to break at the end of that same Quest.

After a character has rented a treasure, the character can later gain that treasure at a reduced cost. The cost becomes its full cost minus its rent cost, in rupees. If a character rents the same treasure multiple times, however, the cost does not decrease further.

A Major Treasure cannot be rented, nor can a character rent any treasure without meeting that treasure's prerequisites.

Rent Costs

The rent cost depends not on the Treasure's PWC, but on its cost category.
