Vector Leaf is an organic item useful for a variety of purposes. The leaf has a pointed appearance similar to an arrowhead. On one side, a Vector Leaf is a pale green color and smooth. On the opposite side, the leaf is white and adhesive. While stored, the leaf is generally folded or rolled up, with the adhesive side on the inside.

The leaf's effect is activated when it is slapped on an organic item or living creature. One full second after being applied, the attached item is abruptly launched with great force in whatever direction the tip of the leaf is pointing. The amount of force is always roughly the same. The force is enough to send an average Hylian man shooting five feet straight up--or sending a large Goron or Lynel a couple feet. Particularly small and light objects, like an apple, could shoot as fast and hard as an arrow fired from a longbow.

After the Vector Leaf imbues its force on the object, it teleports back to owner's palm--but becomes a faded brown color and is no longer adhesive. In this depleted state, the leaf is useless. It can be restored to full function by soaking in fresh water, or bathing in direct sunlight, for at least one minute.

Trivia

  • Propel is able to instantly and repeatedly enact an effect similar to the Vector Leaf, but it can only accelerate the caster's body.
  • The Vector Leaf treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Guy.
