A Tinytite is a tiny mechanical creature, roughly the size of a Hylian's fist, which strongly resembles a small Tektite, albeit made out of clay or stone. Though its origins are unknown, it is known to attach itself to a person like a pet, and readily obeys this "owner."
Strangely, the Tinytite is highly capable of understanding the Hyrulean language. Thus, it is able to understand and carry out its owner's commands with sapient levels of intelligence and memory. However, it is only capable of communicating back with simple gestures, and clicking noises, which can be difficult for its owner to interpret.
Much like a real Tektite, a Tinytite is able to move around by jumping long distances for its size, similar to a grasshopper. It is able to keep up with a Hylian's brisk walking pace at this speed. It is also able to crawl more like a spider, offering stealth and precision of movement, but less speed.
While dormant, the Tinytite resembles a pyramid-shaped pebble which is easily stowed in a pocket or elsewhere. In this state, the Tinytite is extremely resilient, and practically impervious to damage outside of extreme forces. It will leave the dormant state at its owner's command, and only return to that state at its owner's command.

The user can gain the Tiny Beam augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time.
A Tinytite with the Tiny Beam augment is able to shoot a bright red beam from its eye. It can shoot either a narrow beam or a wide beam. A narrow, focused beam is able to burn whatever it strikes, capable of killing insects and other weak creatures, as well as melting ice. It can be used to etch burn marks into wooden surfaces, but is generally too weak to set something on fire unless dowsed with a highly flammable substance such as kerosene. A wide beam is able to fill a small room--while too diluted to inflict damage on anything, but is able to provide comfortable warmth and enough light to read a scroll. Either beam can be sustained indefinitely.
