Summon Instrument is a utility spell consisting of two parts. First, while the caster is carrying a musical instrument, a quick casting of this spell causes it to disappear, as if vanishing into thin air. Second, at any time thereafter, the caster can easily pull that instrument back out of thin air--often alongside minor visual effects, such as a puff of smoke or a small flash of light.

The caster can only store one instrument at a time, and only the instrument can be stored. For example, a document stashed inside a clarinet will not disappear, but instead fall to the ground in lieu of the clarinet holding it. Any instrument the caster can carry can be stored and summoned in this way, and is effectively weightless while stored. Exceedingly large or heavy instruments, such as a grand piano, may be impossible to store.

Trivia

  • Transform or Adventure Pouch can also be used to carry extra gear, but are more costly.
  • Smuggling Pocket enables storing of one item, for a similar cost, but may be unable to store larger instruments.
  • The Summon Instrument treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Magnere.
