'''Geyser''' is an defensive water spell.  To cast this spell, the user must point at a patch of solid ground, a body of water, or solid ice.  Immediately, an intricate glowing circle appears there.  About one second later, a torrential jet of warm freshwater gushes up from that point in a cylinder roughly a foot (or 30cm) in diameter.  The jet always launches exactly perpendicular to the surface, even if that surface is a wall or ceiling.  This geyser continues gushing water for about a minute's time, unless the caster ends the spell prematurely.  The ground from which the geyser erupted will return to normal, but any water it created will persist.

Geyser is an defensive water spell.

The force of the geyser is enough to cause bruises and pain, similar to that of a modern fire hose. Small or heavy objects could be propelled into the air, and even beings as heavy as Gorons and Darknuts would falter and bruise from the sheer impact of the water.

Normally, this spell can be cast once every 30 seconds. With one level of Magic Power, the caster can do so every 10 seconds. With two levels, it can be done every few seconds. (If each geyser is allowed to flow for a full minute, one caster is able to have multiple geysers activated at once.)

Trivia

  • This spell has similarities to Spire, which instead launches a solid spike out of a surface, rather than water.
  • Geyser's capability to summon a large amount of water quickly is similar to that of Water Jet or Bottomless Bottle.
  • The Geyser treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Guy.
