Benevolent Grounds is a defensive spell. Casting it requires roughly several seconds of deep concentration. The caster may cover the ground with dim white-or-yellow light, covering an approximately circular area up to 100 yards (or ~100m) in diameter. The caster can place this circle-of-effect anywhere he chooses, so long as he himself is closer to its center than its edge. Anyone touching this lit ground, or who was touching it within the last few seconds, cannot physically bring themselves to harm others. This includes virtually all offensive treasures, as well as physical damage as from a punch, but excludes "harm" as mundane as insults or tickling. The effect lasts four an hour, but cannot be cast more than once per day.
As a secondary effect, any being who is undead or has a dark affinity will feel overwhelmingly fatigued while in the circle, and may be drained of energy even after leaving it, but suffers no actual physical damage. Any spell or technique of the shadow field will be severely weakened if used in the circle, even if it does no harm.
The Benevolent Grounds treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Tsubori.
