Nayru's Love is a powerful defensive spell that effectively protects the user or an ally from almost all harm. This is a Major treasure. A character who has never gained a Major treasure may gain this treasure normally. Otherwise, the character must first acquire Major Gain specifically to gain this treasure.

The user can cast this spell on herself with only a couple seconds of concentration. The user can cast this spell on an ally simply by touching them and concentrating. In either case, the target is surrounded by a transparent blue crystal for 1 full minute. For the duration of this effect, any injuries sustained by the target are magically healed almost instantly after they are sustained. As such, the target becomes practically impervious to all damage that isn't instantly lethal. The user can still be restrained or knocked around as normal, and any disabling effects still function. Once this spell effect ends, it cannot be cast for at least another 10 minutes.

This spell is as powerful as it is infamous. Virtually every capable or experienced fighter can recognize it, and will likely take precautions against it. The spells effect can be ended prematurely with Shield Breaker or any weapon crafted from Cold Iron.

Trivia

  • Several other treasures provide lesser defensive protection, including Guardian Acorns, Armor Seeds, and Barrier, among others.
  • The Nayru's Love treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Ocarina of Time. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
