A Megamouth Mask always features a massive, gaping, hippotamus-like mouth to cover the user's face. It is usually purple, and may have other aesthetics unique to each mask. While wearing this mask, the wearer's voice will be amplified to approximately five times its original volume.
The Megamouth Mask treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Tsubori.
