The Command Melody is an unusual song with a mystical effect, requiring 5-10 seconds to play. After it is played skillfully, the player becomes able to to telepathically control a nearby willing ally, a statue, or a corpse as if it were their own body. In effect, any humanoid entity can be controlled, so long as it intentionally lets the user control it, or has no mind of its own. Generally, no enetity more than thrice the player's size can be controlled. If either their original or second body takes damage, or are separated by a distance of more than 300 feet (100m), then the effect is cancelled and the player's control returns to their original body.
If the user's Specialty is Control, the user can move their original body and the second body simultaneously, but can only receive sensory input from the second.
The Command Melody treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in The Wind Waker. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
