Piercing Note is a song consisting of but a single specific note, said to be so sharp it can inflict harm.
When this note is skillfully played on a high-quality instrument, a faintly visible bolt of electric energy will shoot out from the instrument in whatever direction it is pointed. This bolt has the speed and size of an arrow skillfully fired from a longbow. On impact, the projectile electrocutes its target with enough energy to stun, and cause a noticeably painful burn on bare skin. The bolt immediately disappears on impact. A skilled instrumentalist is able to produce about one of these bolts per second.
Notably, this treasure can only be performed orally without an instrument if the user has an exceptional voice. To orally produce the Piercing Note, the user must either have a Profession dedicated to singing, or be using a treasure which enhances her voice (such as a Megamouth Mask).
