Sacrilegious Circle is a spell with a clear defensive intent. To acquire this spell, the caster must be Undead, possess a Dark Affinity, or originate from either the Twilight Realm or Dark World.
To cast the spell, the user must place her palms on the ground, utter a specific phrase, and concentrate for several seconds. When successfully cast, a dimly glowing circle outline will extend out from her and stretch across the ground, reaching a radius of up to about 9 meters (or 30 feet). The caster can make a smaller radius by removing her hands from the ground prematurely.
The circle negatively affects any living creature which lacks a Dark Affinity, and does not originate from either the Twilight Realm or Dark World. Such a being will avoid entering the circle if at all possible, but can be physically forced into it. If inside the circle, the entity will feel an overwhelming need to leave the circle--and will do so if able. There is no amount of mental or physical pain or damage involved, merely a powerful mental compulsion and desire.
Once created, the circle will last indefinitely if left alone. If the caster attempts to create a new Sacrilegious Circle, her previous circle will disappear. If a Sacred Circle would ever overlap with a Sacrilegious Circle, both would negate each other and abruptly vanish.
