Spire is an offensive spell. To cast this spell, the user must point at a patch of solid ground. Immediately, an intricate glowing circle appears there. Two seconds later, the spire launches straight up from the ground (whichever direction most resists gravity) at roughly 100mph, extending up 5 feet (~5/3m) with a base of 2 feet (~2/3m). The spire will remain there indefinitely.

While commonly associated with stone, the spire's material actually depends upon the ground from which it. As such, if Spire was used in the desert, it would be made of sand. While still durable for the initial creation, after such a fact it would be fairly brittle and easy to break. Likewise, if it was made on a steel floor, the spire would be made of steel, and much stronger. Strangely, although it is made of the ground it is used on, the spire created does not use materials from the ground, but instead uses separate materials duplicated from the ground's composition.

Normally, this spell can be cast once every 90 seconds. With one level of Magic Power, the caster can do so every 30 seconds. With two levels, it can be done every 10 seconds.

The user can gain the Angled Spire augment to Spire simultaneously with the original treasure, or at a later time. A user with this augment gains two benefits.

First, the user may choose to create the spire at any angle they desire, so long as it is at least 10 degrees off from bring parallel to the designated surface.

Second, the time restrictions on casting Spire may be reduced, as if the user had one more level in Magic Power. If the user already has two levels in Magic Power, the time restriction remains the same.
