Whoever has mastered the Captivating Dance can perform a magical dance that puts nearly everyone who watches it, friend or foe, into a captivated trance within mere seconds. The magic will not halt extremely powerful emotions or motivations, such as an overwhelming desire to kill the dancer, but in nearly every other state of mind the dance's magic will captivate anyone who watches it. The dance requires all of the dancer's attention, and he cannot move from where he started the dance nor perform any other actions while maintaining the trance effect. Once the dancer ceases dancing, the effect immediately ends. Generally, any sudden rush of adrenaline--such as being injured, falling, or watching a murder--will break a being out of the trance prematurely.
Certain extremely competent beings, to include boss monsters, may be able to resist the effect outright. Anyone with a Moon Pearl isn't affected at all.
