Electric Trap is a spell which can be used to place a magical snare. First, the user must use chalk or another utencil to draw a small circle ranging from 1 to 3 feet in diameter. Once drawn, the user fills it with magical, electrical energy, a process which takes a few seconds, causing the circle to glow brightly. When a being next breaks or steps into the glowing outline of the circle, the stored electrical energy will flood the victim's system, generally powerful enough to shock him into unconsciousness lasting a few minutes to an hour. Particularly hardy creatures, or those which don't conduct electricity, may not be knocked out by this effect. The caster need not be nearby for the trap to function, but he will know when the circle is broken. This trap will last for 24 hours before fading. Placing another Electric Trap this will cause the previous one to disappear.

The Electric Trap treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Quill.
