Eruption is an offensive technique, best used when the user has plenty of time to prepare an attack. To use it, the user takes a melee weapon (or his bare hands) above his head, and begins focusing and concentrating all of his strength. The weapon begins to glow brighter and brighter orange and red. At any point, the user may unleash this power by smashing the weapon into the ground (or whatever is beneath their feet), unleashing an explosive burst of flames from the impact point and around their body. Thrusting it immediately after charging will do little more than cause a stab and a small flare, but waiting a full ten seconds will unleash a force roughly equivalent to a potent Powder Keg. Waiting longer than ten seconds may cause the user to overcharge, ending the technique and causing a sprain, bruise, or other minor injury in the user's upper limbs.
Because of the focus required, the user generally cannot move while charging this technique. However, an external force--such as falling, or moving ground--can be used to shift him around.
The Eruption treasure does not appear verbatim within the official Zelda series. However, it does appear in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. In that game, it was a technique used by Ike.
