Inferno is an offensive fire spell. To cast this spell, the user must point at a patch of solid ground. Immediately, an intricate glowing circle appears there. Two seconds later, a pillar of flame launches straight up from the ground (whichever direction most resists gravity), extending up approximately 6 feet (2 meters). The flame lasts for as long as the user concentrates to sustain it, and for one-or-two seconds after concentration ceases. Concentrating to sustain it prevents the caster from using other treasures, or performing stressful physical or mental labor.
Normally, this spell can be cast once every 90 seconds. With one level of Magic Power, the caster can do so every 30 seconds. With two levels, it can be done every 10 seconds.

Lower Cost W5: 20 rupees |
The user can gain the Spread augment simultaneously with the original treasure for an additional cost, or as a separate treasure at a later time. A user with this augment gains two benefits.
First, the user may choose to create the pillar parallel to the ground, instead of rising up from it. The flames will thus create a 6-foot-long (or 2-meter-long) wall, which rises to a height equal to its length.
Second, the time restrictions on casting Inferno may be reduced, as if the user had one more level in Magic Power. If the user already has two levels in Magic Power, the time restriction remains the same.
Trivia
- A similar spell, Spire, creates a pillar of earth instead.
- The Inferno treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Ocarina of Time.
