Payback Punch is an offensive technique, which requires its user to be unarmed. Using this technique, the user can absorb the force and energy from attacks he has succesfully blocked. The next unarmed attack he makes unleashes the additional stored force in his blow, causing a much greater impact. Generally, this technique cannot be used to more than triple the user's forceful impact. Any stored energy will fade quickly, usually in less than a minute. Using this technique does not weaken the incoming blows. Repeatedly using this technique causes increased levels of fatigue, as the enhanced attacks can heavily strain the user's muscles.

The Payback Punch treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Tsubori.
