The Reflect spell can be used to enchant a handheld shield, or comparable piece of armor. The object to be enchanted must within the user's range of sight, and the caster must devote several seconds concentrating to cast the spell.

The enchanted shield gains a magically reflective sheen, with effect equal to a Mirror Shield, or any other shield made from Mirror Silver. This magical coating is capable of perfectly reflecting not only light, but magical projectiles, and sending them back at their caster. Specifically, this includes any projectile created by a spell or magical item. Additionally, the enchantment enables the shield to become as durable as steel, if it would otherwise be of a more feeble material. Casting this spell on a new shield replaces the effect on the previous shield; the effect will also fade if the shield becomes more than 300 feet (or 100m) away from the caster, or if the caster dies. Otherwise, this enchantment can function idefinitely.

The Reflect treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Adventure of Link. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
