The Sand Wand appears as a strange rod, adorned at the tip with the golden head of a monster. When pointed in the direction of sand, it will cause the sand to rapidly rise up to form a giant cube of sand, six feet (or 2 meters) on every side. The cube remains as hard as rock for approximately ten seconds, after which it falls down into normal sand once more. With sufficient sand, any number of these cubes can be formed. Since the wand only requires to be pointed at the sand, a quick swipe through the air can rapidly manifest an entire wall of cubes.
The Sand Wand treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Spirit Tracks. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
