Ice Aura is an offensive ice spell, and a racial perk for Yeti. As such, a Yeti can choose to gain it as a perk upon character creation. If a Yeti chooses to gain this perk at some point after creation, the perk costs 15 rupees less than the listed cost. The natural physiology of the Yeti race enables them to use this spell easily. Because of this, a Yeti can treat Ice Aura as either a spell or technique.
At will, the caster is able to surround herself in an aura of icy winds just above the surface of her skin that numbs or freezes and damages all who touch it, excluding the caster. While weaker enemies will be frozen, most stronger foes will only be numbed for a few seconds. This aura lasts approximately one-to-three seconds, and because of the strain it imposes on one's magic strength, this can normally only be manifested once every 3 minutes. With one level in Magic Power, it can be used once per minute. With two levels in Magic Power, it can be used once every 20 seconds. For the purpose of Ice Aura, a Yeti is treated as though she has one more level in Magic Power than she actually does.
