Bouncing Arrows appear similarly to normal arrows that would be fired from a bow. Unlike normal arrows, Bouncing Arrows can bounce off walls or other non-moving surfaces instead of impacting them. Such an arrow would bounce off the wall at an angle equal to the angle at which it hit the wall. That is, if it hits at a wide angle, it bounces off at a wide angle; or if it hits straight into the wall, it will bounce right back in the direction it came. The fired arrow can bounce up to three times, but none of the bounces slow it down significantly. This treasure provides an effectively infinite supply of these arrows.
Instead of arrows, the user may substitute another type of ammunition when acquiring this treasure, such as "Bouncing Darts" to be thrown, or "Bouncing Pellets" to be fired from a slingshot.
Trivia
- The Bouncing Arrows treasure is an original creation by one of Hyrule Castle's members. Its concept is credited to Squishy.
- The Seed Shooter has a similar ability to bounce certain projectiles off walls, but cannot fire arrows.
