Pegasus Boots appear similar to normal brown leather boots, albeit with small white wings extending from either the sides. The boots have a single unique effect, which is activated if their wearer charges in one place for about half a second. The wearer will then shoot forward at incredible acceleration to approximately 25mph (over 45 km/h) running speed, which is approximately twice the sprinting speed of a typical Hylian, and only slightly less than the fastest natural running a Hylian can produce. The exact speed may vary with the user's size and natural running ability. This speed can be maintained for a little more than half a mile (or almost a full kilometer) before exhaustion.
Trivia
- An Outfitter can treat a Pegasus Boots as a material for the purpose of combining its effects with other materials or treasures into one item of the Footwear field. When determining how many materials the Outfitter can craft into one item, treat this item as though it had a set cost of 20 rupees.
- A Pegasus Seed Supply has a similar effect of enhancing the user's running speed.
