Named after a legendary steed, Epona's Song is most useful to a user who has a mount, pet, or similar companion. Playing this mystical song requires a degree of skill, but can be finished in roughly 5-to-10 seconds. Once the song finishes, the player's mount or pet will be magically summoned to player's side instantaneously, even from immense distances. The song cannot bring the mount through different dimensions, however, such as bringing a horse from Hyrule to the Twilight Realm, or vice versa. If the player has more than one mount or pet, she can select which one to summon by mentally picturing the chosen creature while playing.
Trivia
- Epona's Song is considered a variant of the Horse Call. Both ultimately have the same effect, but Horse Call may be easier to acquire for a user without high Courage.
- The Epona's Song treasure canonically appears in the Zelda series, initially in Ocarina of Time. More information about the canonical version of this treasure can likely be found on Zelda Wiki.
